Elements Medical provide Rederm – also known as Redermalization – treatments from our Doncaster-based clinic, easily accessible from surrounding areas of Sheffield and Leeds.
Rederm is a combination of succinic acid and hyaluronic acid. The succinic acid is a powerful antioxidant present in every living cell. Rederm stimulates collagen and elastin while reducing pigmentation, detoxing the skin and energising the skin cells. At the same time, the hyaluronic acid works hard to prevent dehydration.
The rederm treatment helps with the following conditions:

Xela Rederm is a course of treatments using a combination of Hyaluronic and Succinic acid to increase Collagen and Elastin production to help restore a youthful bounce to the skin.
It works by taking Succinic acid which is great for stimulating collagen and elastin , reducing pigmentation, detoxing the skin and energising the skin cells and combining it with Hyaluronic acid which works hard to prevent dehydration of the skin. Together they tackle fine lines and wrinkles, dark circles around the eyes, pigmentation, crepe like skin, dehydration, scarring and loss of elasticity.
The areas that we treat are; Face, Eyes, Decolletage, hands and stomach.
Xela Rederm is a course of at least 6 treatments that must be carried out in full to see a result, however we will asses your skin after 3 treatments and decide how many more you require.
Results vary from each individual due to skin type and lifestyle but should last between 6 – 9 months, at which point a repeat treatment cycle is recommended.
Following treatment you should expect to see small lentil sized papules of Xela Rederm under the skin, in most occasions they subside within a few hours but they can remain for up to 72 hours – this is completely normal. A darkening colour may appear but again this is normal as it is the pigmentation leaving the skin and is all part of the process.
This depends on the individual, during your consultation we will discuss at length this procedure and if you are not suitable we may be able to recommend an alternative treatment.
This depends on the individual, at your consultation we will assess if the Xela Rederm Treatment is the right Procedure for you. It is important that you disclose all current medication and ailments to ensure we limit any risks.
