Prior to your lip enhancement, you will have a choice of anaesthetic. We can apply a topical numbing cream that is left on for 30 minutes to numb the mouth area, making treatment more comfortable. Alternatively, you can have a dental block in which we inject the anaesthetic into your gums. This temporary block the nerves in the area, completely numbing your mouth so you will not feel anything.
Our Lip Enhancement treatments come with a wide range of benefits, supporting the shape and tissues of your lips. It can also add projection, and give an added volume and fullness to the shape of your lips. The treatment can also help reduce the appearance of perioral lines – often known as smokers’ lines. It can even help to prevent lipstick bleeding.
All our injectable treatments come with aftercare advice given to you prior to treatment. The most common side effects are bruising and swelling, which will subside after a few days. You can expect to see your result in two weeks, and they typically last up to six months.

What is Lip Enhancement? Lip Enhancement is where we inject Dermal Fillers into the Lips to give the mouth a full more sensual form. It can also help with lipstick bleeding, soften lines around the mouth
How long is the procedure? The procedure can take anything between 30 – 60 minutes.
What is the recovery like after Lip Enhancement? Aftercare will always be prompted post treatment from your injector. Like all Injectable procedures Bruising, Swelling and tenderness can occur, this is completely normal following from this treatment.
When will I see a result? You should expect to see an improvement instantly however we always advise the result will be final after 2 weeks – this allows for the bruising, swelling and tenderness to have subsided.
How long do results last for? Results should last between 6-9 months, this can however vary from person to person depending on a few lifestyle choices such as, regular sun exposure, use of sunbeds, and smoking. We always advise that you drink at least 2 litres of water daily to keep them nice and plump.
Am I the right candidate for this treatment? This depends on the individual, during your consultation we will discuss at length this procedure and if you are not suitable we may be able to recommend an alternative treatment.
Are there any risks? This depends on the individual, at your consultation we will assess if Lip Enhancement is the right Procedure for you. It is important that you disclose all current medication and ailments to ensure we limit any risks.
