Sculptra is injected directly into the skin, helping to stimulate the body’s own production of new collagen to thicken the skin, soften lines and wrinkles, and create volume in areas of fat loss. This creates smoother, tighter and firmer skin.
A course of three (two-vial) treatments is required at eight-week intervals and results can typically last up to two years.
Aftercare instructions and advice are given on the day of your treatment for any injectable treatment we offer. Swelling and bruising are common side effects and will subside after 7 – 10 days, and you can expect to see your end-result after two weeks.

What is Sculptra? Sculptra is a collagen stimulator that works deep into the dermis (skin) to help restore, repair and volumise the ageing face.
How does Sculptra work? As we age our collagen production reduces which typically leads to us noticing lines, wrinkles and folds to the skin. By injecting the collagen stimultor “Sculptra” we are replacing and stimulating our own bodies production of new collagen to thicken the skin, soften lines and wrinkles, and create volume in areas of fat loss, creating a much more smoother, tighter and firmer skin. It works by injecting Sculptra into your areas of concern to help build a structure into the Dermis to.
How long is the procedure? The procedure can take anything between 30 – 60 minutes.
What is the recovery like after Sculptra? Aftercare will always be prompted post treatment from your injector.Like all Injectable procedures Bruising, Swelling and tenderness can occur, this is completely normal following from this treatment. Light massage to the area will need to be done at least 5 times a day to maintain maximum results, this will however be prompted post treatment.
When will I see a result? You should expect to see an improvement instantly however we always advise the result will be final after 2 weeks – this allows for the bruising, swelling and tenderness to have subsided.
How long do results last for? After you have finished the recommended course of 3-4 treatments on 1-2 vials at an 8 week interval your results could last up to 2 years.
Am I the right candidate? This depends on the individual, during your consultation we will discuss at length this procedure and if you are not suitable we may be able to recommend an alternative treatment.
Are there any risks? This depends on the individual, at your consultation we will assess if Sculptra is the right Procedure for you. It is important that you disclose all current medication and ailments to ensure we limit any risks.
