The Elements Liquid Lift is one of the most comprehensive non-surgical facial treatments available today. Rather than targeting a single area in isolation, it takes a whole-face approach — assessing how volume loss, hollowing, and gravitational changes across multiple zones work together to alter your appearance.
As we age, we lose volume from the temples, mid-face, cheeks, tear troughs and jawline. This volume loss creates shadows and hollows that cast the face in a tired, gaunt or older-looking light. The Elements Liquid Lift addresses all of these areas in a single, joined-up treatment plan, using dermal fillers to restore the natural peaks that reflect light and give the face its youthful shape.
The treatment is performed by experienced aesthetic practitioners and takes between 30 and 90 minutes, depending on the number of areas treated. A topical numbing cream is applied beforehand for comfort, and most patients see an immediate improvement with the final result settling beautifully at around two weeks.
Our Doncaster clinic is on Thorne Road with on-site parking, and we welcome patients from across South Yorkshire, including Sheffield, Leeds, Wakefield and York.
A liquid facelift — also known as a liquid lift — is a non-surgical facial rejuvenation technique that uses injectable dermal fillers to replicate many of the lifting, volumising and contouring effects of a traditional surgical facelift, without any incisions or recovery time.
Dermal fillers used in this treatment are typically made from hyaluronic acid, a substance that occurs naturally in the body. Hyaluronic acid attracts and holds moisture, making it ideal for restoring the soft, plump, well-hydrated appearance of younger skin. The results are immediate, natural-looking and fully reversible.
The word “liquid” refers to the injectable nature of the treatment. Instead of cutting and lifting tissue surgically, a skilled practitioner uses a series of carefully placed injections to add volume, reshape contours and create a lifting effect through strategic placement rather than physical manipulation of tissue.
At Elements Medical, we use only premium, pharmaceutical-grade hyaluronic acid fillers from trusted brands. Every treatment is tailored to your individual anatomy, proportions and aesthetic goals.

The face ages in three dimensions. We lose bone density, fat and soft tissue volume over time, and gravity pulls everything downward. The result is a face that appears hollowed out, flattened, and less structured than it once was.
The Elements Liquid Lift works by identifying the key areas of volume loss and strategically restoring them in the correct anatomical layers. Here is what to expect from your appointment:
The number of millilitres used depends entirely on your individual anatomy and goals. We typically recommend a minimum of 4ml for the Liquid Lift to achieve a genuinely lifted, harmonious result — though this is always discussed and agreed in consultation.
At Elements Medical, every treatment we deliver is guided by three clear therapeutic purposes. The Elements Liquid Lift is no exception.
Volume loss is one of the most significant drivers of facial ageing. When the cheeks flatten, the temples hollow and the jawline loses definition, the face can look significantly older, more tired and less like the person you feel on the inside. The Elements Liquid Lift directly addresses this by restoring volume to the areas that have lost it, bringing the face back into the balanced, lifted proportions of a younger you. Many patients describe it as turning back the clock without looking like they have had anything done.
Restoring volume is not just about aesthetics — it also supports the structural integrity of the overlying skin. When deeper tissues are supported and volumised, the skin above them sits better, shows less laxity and ages more gracefully over time. Regular maintenance of facial volume also helps to prevent the accelerated hollowing that occurs when volume loss is left unaddressed for long periods. Patients who maintain their results tend to need less product over time, not more.
The way we look has a profound impact on how we feel about ourselves. When the reflection in the mirror no longer matches the energy and vitality we feel inside, it can quietly erode confidence, self-esteem and comfort in social situations. Many of our patients tell us that the hollows under their eyes make them look exhausted, or that the loss of structure in their cheeks makes them look sad or unwell. These concerns are real, valid and important. The Elements Liquid Lift helps close the gap between how you feel and how you look — and the impact on confidence and emotional well-being can be profound.
Here is why so many patients choose the Elements Liquid Lift and return for it year after year.
1. Restores lost facial volume — the natural volume in the cheeks, temples, tear troughs and mid-face is gently and precisely replenished, giving the face its structure and lift back. The difference is immediately visible and consistently described by patients as transformative.
2. Lifts and defines the lower face — by restoring volume in the mid-face, the Elements Liquid Lift has a mechanical lifting effect on the lower face and jawline. Jowls are softened, the jawline regains its definition and the overall face looks more structured and youthful.
3. Eliminates hollows and shadows — the troughs and hollows that cast the face in shadow are filled and restored, so light reflects off the face evenly again. This single change makes a remarkable difference to how fresh, healthy and awake you look.
4. Immediate results with no surgery — you walk out of the clinic looking better than you walked in. There are no incisions, no general anaesthetic and no weeks of recovery. You can return to normal activities the same day or the day after.
5. Natural, proportionate results — at Elements Medical, we never aim for an overfilled or altered appearance. Our goal is always to restore your own natural proportions, so you look like the best, most rested version of yourself. Nobody should be able to tell that you have had treatment unless you choose to tell them.
6. Fully reversible — hyaluronic acid dermal fillers can be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase if you ever wish to reverse the treatment. This gives you complete peace of mind that nothing is permanent.
7. Boosts confidence and emotional well-being — this is the benefit our patients talk about most. When the reflection in the mirror finally matches how you feel, it changes everything. Patients stand taller, smile more freely and feel more comfortable in their own skin. That is what the Elements Liquid Lift is really all about.
The Elements Liquid Lift is a multi-area treatment. During your consultation, we assess your face as a whole and create a bespoke treatment plan. Below are the key areas we commonly address.
Temples
The temples are often the first area to hollow as we age, but also the most commonly overlooked. Hollow temples make the face appear narrow, gaunt and skull-like. Restoring volume here immediately opens up the upper face and supports the brow position.
Tear Trough
The groove beneath the eye — often causing dark circles and a permanently tired look — can be softened with carefully placed filler. This is one of the most impactful areas to treat, and one of the most technically demanding. Our practitioners are highly experienced in this delicate zone.
Cheeks and Mid-Face
This is the cornerstone of the Liquid Lift. The cheeks sit at the centre of facial structure. When they flatten and descend, everything below them follows. Restoring volume and lift to the mid-face creates a cascade of improvement across the entire lower face — softening nasolabial folds, lifting jowls and redefining the jawline.
Nasolabial Folds
The lines that run from the nose to the corners of the mouth become more pronounced as mid-face volume is lost. Addressing the underlying volume deficit — rather than simply filling the fold itself — gives a far more natural, longer-lasting result.
Jawline and Jowls
Filler placed along the jawline can sharpen and define the lower face while addressing jowls for a more structured, youthful profile. This is often one of the most rewarding areas for patients who feel their jawline has become undefined or soft.
Chin
A well-proportioned chin anchors the lower face and balances the profile. Adding gentle volume or projection to the chin helps to harmonise the whole face and create a more elegant, balanced appearance. See our Chin Filler page for more details.
You may already be familiar with dermal fillers for individual areas — lip enhancement, cheek filler or jawline contouring, for example. So how does the Liquid Lift differ?
Individual filler treatments focus on a single area in isolation — adding volume to the lips, defining the cheeks or sharpening the jawline as a standalone appointment. These are excellent treatments in their own right.
The Elements Liquid Lift is a coordinated, whole-face approach. Rather than treating one area at a time, we assess the entire face together — understanding how changes in the temples affect the mid-face, how mid-face volume drives lower-face lift and how the jawline and chin relate to the overall profile. This global approach delivers a result that is more cohesive, more natural and more transformative than treating individual areas in isolation.
If you have had individual filler treatments before and felt something was still missing, or if you are looking for a more comprehensive rejuvenation, the Elements Liquid Lift is likely the right next step.
Anti-wrinkle injections use botulinum toxin to relax facial muscles that cause lines and wrinkles — things like forehead lines, frown lines and crow’s feet. They do not add any volume, and they do not address the structural changes caused by volume loss.
The Elements Liquid Lift uses dermal fillers to restore volume and structure to the face. It does not address muscle-driven wrinkles.
The two treatments are complementary rather than competing. Many of our patients combine the Liquid Lift with anti-wrinkle injections for a complete facial rejuvenation — the fillers restore structure and volume while the botulinum toxin smooths the lines caused by muscle movement. Together, they address virtually every aspect of facial ageing without surgery. We can talk you through the best approach during your consultation.
The Liquid Lift is one of the most technically demanding treatments in aesthetic medicine. The outcome depends entirely on the skill, experience and aesthetic eye of your practitioner. Placing filler in the wrong area, at the wrong depth or in the wrong volume can produce results that look unnatural, overfilled or out of balance.
At Elements Medical, every Liquid Lift is carried out by experienced aesthetic practitioners who understand the three-dimensional anatomy of the ageing face. We do not follow a formulaic protocol. We assess your face individually, understand your concerns, and create a bespoke treatment plan that is right for your anatomy and your goals.
We are honest. If we do not think you are suitable for the treatment, we will say so. If we think a different approach would give you a better result, we will tell you. We would always rather give you the right advice than the wrong treatment.
We are based on Thorne Road in Doncaster with on-site parking and welcome patients from across South Yorkshire and beyond, including Sheffield, Leeds, Wakefield, Rotherham and York.

The Elements Liquid Lift is a non-surgical facial rejuvenation treatment that uses hyaluronic acid dermal fillers to restore lost volume, lift sagging facial contours and create a more youthful, harmonious appearance. It takes a whole-face approach rather than treating individual areas in isolation.
A liquid facelift is a non-surgical alternative to a traditional facelift that uses injectable dermal fillers to restore volume, lift contours and rejuvenate the face without incisions, anaesthetic or surgical recovery. The name refers to the injectable — or “liquid” — nature of the treatment.
As we age, we lose volume from key facial structures including the temples, cheeks, tear troughs and jawline. This creates hollows and shadows that make the face look tired and older. The Liquid Lift restores volume to these areas in the correct anatomical layers, lifting and supporting the overlying tissues and creating a more youthful, structured appearance.
A full Liquid Lift appointment typically takes between 30 and 90 minutes. This includes applying a topical numbing cream 30 minutes before treatment begins. The actual injection time varies depending on the number of areas being treated.
You will see an improvement immediately after treatment. The final result settles at around two weeks, once any minor swelling has fully resolved. We include a free review appointment at two weeks so we can assess your result and make any refinements.
Results typically last between 9 and 18 months, depending on the areas treated, the volume used and individual factors such as metabolism. Results can be maintained with top-up treatments when they begin to fade.
Most patients find the treatment very comfortable. A topical numbing cream is applied 30 minutes before treatment begins, and many of the fillers we use also contain a local anaesthetic within the product itself.
Downtime is minimal. Some bruising and swelling is normal after treatment — particularly around the tear trough and lip areas — and most patients return to normal activities the same day or the following day. We recommend avoiding strenuous exercise and alcohol for 24 hours.
This depends on your individual anatomy and the extent of volume loss. We typically recommend a minimum of 4ml for the Elements Liquid Lift to achieve a genuinely lifted, balanced result. To put this in perspective, 4ml is less than a full teaspoon of product. Your practitioner will advise on the ideal volume during your consultation.
Yes. Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers can be dissolved at any time using an enzyme called hyaluronidase. This means the treatment is fully reversible and nothing about it is permanent.
Absolutely. Many of our patients combine the Elements Liquid Lift with anti-wrinkle injections for a more complete result — the fillers restore volume and structure while the botulinum toxin addresses muscle-driven lines and wrinkles. We can also combine it with skin boosters to improve skin quality and radiance. We will advise on the best combination during your consultation.
Most adults who are experiencing facial volume loss are suitable candidates. During your consultation, we review your medical history, assess your anatomy and discuss your goals in detail. If the Liquid Lift is not right for you, we will let you know and recommend a more appropriate alternative.
No. Dermal filler treatments are not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Please speak to us about alternative options.
Your results will gradually and naturally fade as the hyaluronic acid is absorbed by the body over time. You will return to your natural appearance. There is no “rebound” effect and your face will not look worse than it did before treatment began.
A surgical facelift physically repositions and removes facial tissue under general or local anaesthetic, with a recovery period of several weeks. The Liquid Lift is entirely non-surgical, uses injectable fillers to restore volume and structure, and requires no recovery. Results from surgery typically last significantly longer. The right choice depends on your individual anatomy, the degree of change you want to achieve and your personal preferences — we are happy to give you an honest assessment during your consultation.
The Liquid Lift requires an exceptional level of anatomical knowledge, aesthetic judgement and technical skill. At Elements Medical, every treatment is performed by experienced practitioners who assess your face individually and build a bespoke treatment plan around your anatomy and goals. We are honest, experienced and genuinely invested in your results. Our Doncaster clinic is on Thorne Road, with parking, and serves patients across South Yorkshire.
